Our Purpose

Readers Rising was formed in 2023 with 3 key goals in mind 1) help to foster a love of reading in pre-school children, 2) support parents with tools and resources on how to encourage their child's academic growth, and 3) build a strong educational community that supports families and children. 

Our program consists of story time with the children where they learn early childhood literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. Additionally, parents work with staff on research-based strategies that help them to encourage literacy and the love of stories in their child. All books, activities, and resources are free to the families. 

We firmly believe that by building confidence and love for literacy at young ages, children will enter school with a strong foundation for success that will follow them for the rest of their academics.
